Now it is almost one month ago that I arrived here and my English is improving constantly. On the 20.9. we were going to London with the 12 grade forms; we were visiting the parliament. Later I was taking some photos with a nice girl from my school. Sitting on the river, I suddenly realized that the people next to us were Germans. I asked them for my friend whether they want her to take a photo of them. After that, they told me in English that I was speaking German very well. My friend just said aridly:"Obviously, she is German." The day after that I went with my host sister to Exeter to go shopping although I was really tired. By the way, the announcements in the train are not comprehensible. On Sunday we went to Paignton and did a long walk on the beach - it was low tide. My host dad Neil and me were throwing sea weed at each other, I ran after sea gulls (I am not eighteen yet so I don't have to pretend to be reasonable^^) and then we explored interesting animals (sea anemones, crabs, sea urchins, shells,...) in little holes full of water which the high tide had left. It was a really beatiful day. Since that day, Neil calls me "little problem". :) On Tuesday we were speaking about slacklining the first time. On the same evening I tried it - and achieved to stay five seconds on it! I was so proud. Although I am seriously ill since Wednesday, I was on the slackline again on Friday - and achieved my first six steps. That is really great fun! (I'm afraid I can't do it if it's raining.) Yesterday we aimed to go to the town centre but it was raining nearly all day long. Giulia and I played cards. Today I achieved indeed 13 steps on the slackline - and three backwards. Furthermore, I was the star of the week in Psychology. We bought some necessary things today in the town and then we relaxed in a very cozy Cafe on the harbour with a great view and hot english tea. How beautiful life can be.
